Peak DAO: Here’s what you need to know

Peak DAO is a Decentralized Reserve Currency that is on the Avalanche Network. Forked from Olympus DAO (operating on AVAX network). Peak DAO will use the same bond and stake mechanisms as Olympus DAO does.

The goal of this mechanism is to become the owner of the protocol’s liquidity, which helps to ensure sustainable, long-term growth.

Peak DAO’s token will be named $Peak(PT).

Why did we choose to Create on Avalanche Network?

Peak DAO chose to use AVAX as a result of several key elements to success:

• Modest: AVAX offers affordable fees, so the user can easily purchase the number of PTs required without overpaying for the transaction itself.
• Accessibility: It is very simple to buy $Peak easily on TRADER JOE and it can easily be sold there as well.
• Availability & Trust: Currently, there are some Avax reserve currency DAOs that have displayed the correct steps needed to provide a very successful, stable launch such as $TIME. We intend to follow in their footsteps.
• Notable Growth & Popularity: Avax has etched its name into the great ledger of cryptos and is constantly growing and evolving to meet consumer demands. We see this as an amazing opportunity to help an ecosystem grow while flourishing as a community ourselves.

All of these key features are consistent with our goal of offering easy & quick access to Peak DAO, at a low introductory cost.

What’s in the Future for Peak DAO?

Peak DAO will provide great discounts and rewards to the Presale Whitelist members. The details of the Presale and public sale will be mentioned in our next article, so stay tuned!

Peak DAO will provide a substantial APY at launch to reward our community. APY will then be managed by the protocol to stabilize at sustainable levels, to ensure a robust development. With this mechanism, staking members will be provided with PEAK capital growth.

The bond mechanism will also be available at public launch, our community will be offered a significant discount when minting new $Peak tokens. Bonding is necessary to create a stable and growing treasury.

Before the public launch, every single addition/removal in the protocol will be chosen from the polls done within our Discord server.

The community will get full protocol governance by staking $Peak. The community will have voting rights. Also, holders will be able to vote on the allocation of treasury funds.

While the treasury grows, $Peak’s intrinsic value will increase, giving the token a value that it cannot fall below.

The Peak DAO team believes that power and freedom belong to the community. This is why our number 1 goal is to build the best community in Defi.

Presale

The Peak DAO team has chosen to have a limited-access presale for multiple reasons :

• Boosting liquidity at launch
• Growing a stable and solid treasury
• Rewarding our early members sufficiently

Presale access will be based on a whitelist. Our community will be able to get whitelisted in different ways which can be found in our Discord server here.

Security

Peak DAO knows and understands that investors are concerned about security. We are also alarmed by the large number of scam projects that have been launched recently, which led to a loss of capital for many investors.

That’s why our presale contract will be made public before the presale. Liquidity will be locked. Also, the treasury funds will be under a multi-sig contract.

To prevent bot sniping, the contract address of $Peak will not be made available until the launch. However, we will not be using “bot trap” contracts.

When will we launch?

At the moment, we are working hard to build out Peak DAO and grow our community to levels never before imagined. As our numbers grow, so does our power collectively, which is why it is imperative to have community support throughout the journey.
